Privacy policy

This policy describes how information is processed on chikillas.com. “Chikillas” refers to the site and its operator. For privacy questions and to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].

1. Information we may process

The information depends on the features you use. It may include:

• Technical and security data: IP address, date and time, browser, device and the logs needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse and resolve incidents. The hosting provider may generate technical logs.
• Messages and requests: the email address and content you send when asking for support, requesting the removal of a listing or exercising a right.
• Account or profile data: email, alias, preferences, city, contact details and fields that an adult voluntarily provides to manage their profile.
• Community content: reviews, comments, topics and reports, only when those features are enabled.
• External contact data: if you open WhatsApp or another service from a link, that provider receives whatever you choose to share, under its own rules.

Do not request or publish health data, identity documents, a private home address, real-time location or intimate information about another person. Some content about sexual life may be sensitive. Chikillas does not need that content to display the directory.

2. How we use the data

We use the information needed to run the site, answer questions, provide the requested features, review reports, prevent fraud and impersonation, protect people, meet legal obligations and defend rights. We do not sell personal data.

We rely on the legal basis that applies in each country: consent where it is required, providing the requested feature, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests where permitted and assessed in context. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

3. Content and visibility

Data submitted for a listing may be visible to visitors and search engines, and third parties may copy it. Review every item before you submit it. The person keeps their rights over what they contribute and grants Chikillas only the limited permission needed to host it, adapt it to the format and display it within the chosen feature. You can request its removal; temporary technical copies, backups, third-party copies or information that the law requires us to keep may remain.

4. Providers and transfers

Hosting, security and audience measurement rely on providers that process data on behalf of the service. Cloudflare may process technical request data to provide network and security services, and Google processes the measurement data described in section 6. Authorities may receive information when there is a valid request or a legal obligation. Some providers may process data outside your country; we apply the safeguards required by the applicable law.

In Brazil, where article 15 of the Marco Civil da Internet applies to the provider, application access logs are kept confidential, in a controlled and secure environment, for six months.

5. Retention and security

We keep each item of data only for as long as the stated purpose and the applicable legal periods require; afterwards we delete, anonymize or block it. The period may be extended by technical backups, a dispute or a legal obligation. We apply reasonable access, storage and transmission measures according to the risk. No service connected to the Internet offers absolute security; we will notify incidents where the law requires it.

6. Cookies, storage and measurement

The appearance and the city you choose are saved in your browser’s storage. To suggest a city when you arrive, the site checks the approximate location of your connection, at city and country level only; that suggestion is remembered only for the browser session.

We measure use of the site with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics stores the analytics cookies _ga and _ga_* in your browser. They last up to two years, are used only on www.chikillas.com, and tell visits apart and count how many people come back. We do not use advertising cookies: advertising storage, the use of data for ads and personalization are denied, and Google signals are turned off. Google receives technical data about each visit, such as the page, language, browser, device and the IP address of the connection. On profile pages a generic path is sent instead of the profile’s address, and contact clicks are counted without identifying the profile or the number. The forum, publishing, sign-in and payments are excluded from this measurement.

Features that require a session may use strictly necessary cookies. You can delete or block the site’s cookies and storage in your browser; some features may stop working.

7. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you can request confirmation and access, a copy, correction, updating, deletion, objection, blocking, portability or withdrawal of consent. Write to [email protected] stating your country, the email or alias concerned and your request. We will only ask for information proportionate to verifying that the data is yours. We will reply within the legal deadline; you may contact the data protection authority or the competent court where applicable.

8. Minors

The directory and its adult features are intended for people aged 18 or over. Publishing data, images or sexual content involving minors is prohibited. If you see such material, report it to [email protected] without forwarding or attaching it.

9. Changes and legal references

We will publish the date of any update here. The rights and mandatory rules of the relevant country apply. Reference laws include Chile’s Law 19,628 and Law 21,719; Argentina’s Law 25,326; Brazil’s LGPD and the Marco Civil da Internet; Colombia’s Law 1581; Mexico’s LFPDPPP; and Peru’s Law 29,733 and its Regulation, Supreme Decree 016-2024-JUS.
